Meet the storm

Hi!
I’m Tom.
I’m passionate about photography and capturing change in nature.

I’m also the storm. I specialise in ‘precision creativity’, inspired by surges of energy amidst nature’s ebb and flow.

I draw an enormous fascination from our dynamic planet…

The rhythm of tides.
The rise and fall of rivers.
The continuous migration of sand banks following episodic erosion of cliffs.

A geographer at heart, I’ve worked in cutting-edge science and tech for a looong time, often at sea or out in the wilderness. This means I’ve also collected ideas and inspiration as I’ve hungrily explored Earth.

I have an affinity for explosive, rapid-onset creativity and a passion for the unpredictable. I thrive in those moments where a sudden downpour makes way for a short, sweet glimmer of golden sunlight. I find pockets of calm amidst chaos.
